Why it matters: This is a recognizable restaurant brand at a high-visibility commercial address. That makes it more worth watching than another residential filing.

Why it matters: Commercial remodeling and cabinetry business with a clear in-city address and a live business site.

Why it matters: Named food concept at a commercial street address. Food openings tend to matter fast because people notice them fast.

Address: 1312 Stewart Ave SE, Roanoke
Why it matters: The trade name is tied to Hypno Yoga LLC at a named Roanoke address. Public confirmation is thinner than some of the others, so the label stays conservative.

How we choose what goes on this page
Start with the city list
Every featured name starts on the official City of Roanoke new-business report.
Add permit detail when it is public
When Roanoke’s permit record adds useful detail, we use it to tighten the status.
Screen out weak signals
We usually remove home businesses, apartment filings, unknown locations, and out-of-locality contractor noise.
Keep the labels honest
We use the strongest label the public record supports. If the record only shows a license, we say newly licensed. If an opening is still unproven, we do not call it open.
Make it readable
The city file is useful, but messy. This page turns it into something you can scan in a minute.
Expand carefully
Roanoke is first. Hanover County and Spotsylvania County are next because both have public permit search systems we can verify.
